High school isn't that cool?(spoilers - its not)

First day of school!

(A little reminder,I will try and add chapters every few weeks or so.)

It was a peaceful monday morning,but that was quickly interrupted by the worst sound I know,BEEP,BEEP,BEEP!I was shocked awake,I looked to the side of my bed,sure enough- it was my alarm clock,on 6 am. I sat up,”ugh… seriously?”. I looked to the other side of my bed,today was marked “First day of highschool” on my calendar. I hit my leg a little hard,and it hurt,I looked up and went “so this isn’t a dream…”. I was pretty close to getting up until the door burst open,my little brother,Caos rushing in.”LOASM!WAKE UP WAKE UP!!!”.I really didn’t need a second alarm but anyways,i go “Calm down,also how are you already dressed?”.He looks at me even more excited then before,”Well that doesn’t matter,come on,mom made eggs!”. Believe it or not,eggs are the only breakfast I actually enjoyed,”Leave me alone and let me get dressed ok?”. I got up,walked over to my closet thats probably more disorganized than a camper after 15 days of use. I put on comfy pants that look like jeans but aren’t actually jeans,put on a white shirt and a green hoodie with a cool looking L on the back. Anyways I walked down stairs,caos was eating threw his eggs faster then a cheetah. I walked toward my seat and sat down,before I could even began eating caos began bursting at me.”Sooo,do you have any hopes for are new school?”.I grabbed my fork and said “Not really,last year sucked and i don’t expect anything better.Remember those teachers,man they sucked so much.”.It seemed to me that caos was a little,unexpected and disappointed by my answer.”Well,I think i’ll have loads of friends and all the teachers will be good!”.I look at him,trying to look happy but failed miserably,”Wow,thats uhh… high hopes.”.We ate the rest of breakfast silently,maybe even a little TO quite. Well we finished,are mom smiled at us and went “I hope you 2 have a great first day!Now go on or you might be late!”.Both me and Caos waved are goodbyes and began walking down the road. I was expecting the walk to be just as quite, which i was not about to do AGAIN.”So,Caos… are you gonna actually get good grades this year and not get D’s and F’s?”.He seemed a little,shocked by the sentence,”Absolutley!I’ll try my hardest!”.Well,I knew for a fact that he would try today,then not do it any other day.”Hey we should play a game,im not gonna walk all the way down this road and just,not do anything”.Caos looked approved of this,which i guess he thought the same thing i did.”Well,what game are we going to play?”,he said excitedly.”Truth or dare.”,It was the first game that popped into my head,plus it was a rainy early morning so im sure i could do an evil dare.Caos grinned at me and said “Alright sure!”.Then the game began,i went first,since the way i play truth or dare is whoever called the game first goes first.”Truth or dare?”.”Truth”.Well shucks,i was hoping he’d say dare but its whatever,”Have you ever had a crush on someone?”.He froze for a second then continued walking,and said “yea…”’.”Its normal,don’t sweat it.”,I said trying to calm him down,but i’ve never had a crush on someone so i was just lying.”Loasm,truth or dare?”.”Wow,how formal.Who knows maybe you are taking this grade thing seriously,anyways,truth.”.I figured he would ask me a similar question and i began thinking of every possibility until it was interrupted by “Do you secretly like school?”.I was a little surprised by this,i could’ve swore i clarified that i hated it,”If i liked school,don’t ya think i would be alot more excited?I mean,i think you can answer the question yourself.”.I don’t think that was the response he was looking for,”Truth or d-”.”We are at school!” Caos shouted at possibly the highest note he had ever done.I didn’t even realize and i looked up and we were approaching the school.”Well this is a real shame… looks like we are finally here.”.At this point i began thinking,I really should’ve skipped school.”Loasm,come on cheer up!”.That was most definitely NOT happening,so i said,in possibly the most accidental sarcastic tone,”No”.Clearly that wasn’t what he wanted,but that's my specialty. Though something caught my attention,there was a skate part. Now I am really good at skateboarding,and If some student hosts a competition,I am most likely joining. Though i snapped back as i nearly tripped and all the sudden we was walking down straight to the front door.”Westride high school,this better be good…”

I walked into this school,and it was a really nice school. The hallway split into 2 paths,but there was a booth infront of the door,with a big sign saying “SCHEDRULES”.Clearly we were supposed to go there and so we did,we waited in line then got are schedrules. We was walking down to are locker,since the locker number was also on it. We walked —--------------------------down to are locker and some kid was walking by. He had jet black hair,a shirt with a shark on | | | it,a orange jacket and basketball shorts. While walking by he looked at us and went “Well,are | | |you fellows new?”.I was shocked,but atleast i finally got a social connection. “I’m new here and | | I don’t know what to expect,whats your name?”.I was trying pretty desperately to befriend him | |to be honest,he replied with “Oh,rider,how about ya?”. Something i had noticed was that Rider | | |had a country accent,though I wasn’t gonna waste my time.”Oh Loasm,nice to meet you.You

| |from the countryside?”.I guess Rider didn’t realize that I had realized that he has a country | |accent,and he said “Nah,but I am apart of a texas family if ya were wondering.”.I was going to

| |respond but i guess Caos had finally noticed him. “Oh hello!Who are you!”. A little rude if you —---------------------------ask me,but to be honest,I can’t be the one to judge. Clearly both me and rider were taken back.”Sorry about him,hes my little brother and he’s alot.”.Though clearly rider didn’t hear me in the SLIGHTEST. “Oh heya there fella,whats ya name?”,Rider said,clearly intrigued my Caos. I guess something runs threw the family,cause Caos clearly wanted friends to,”Oh hey!Im Caos,how about you!”.I really should’ve taken notes,though he is better at being excited then i am.”Oh,my name is Rider!”.He finally took a step back and looked at us both.”Ya are great brothers you should know.”,clearly there was something else on his mind.”Well,im gonna head to class,see ya fella’s later”.He walked away almost like this never happened. Well,I’ve noticed that High school isn’t ALL that bad… hope it sticks to that. I swear all these movies make it sound SO much worse then it really is,thank god for that. Well,i didn’t have much time so i waved goodbye to Caos and left the scene.I pulled out my schedule,Math class… 6:30 to 7:15.I began walking down the hallways until i found his numbers. I went into class,and barley on time as the bell ringed.I looked around and-oh rider was here,I sat down next to him.”So,fella ya new here right?”,Rider said.”Yea,so you know who this teacher is?”.”Nah fella,I’m also a freshman here so he is as new to me as he is to ya.”.Well i certainly wished I did,though the teacher finally got up from his desk.”Hello class,my name is Mr.cook,i’m glad to me you all!”.Well,his voice is way deeper than i thought.He scanned the room until he looked at me.”Well class,I want you all to welcome are new student!Loasm,may you please get up here?”.Well,I was hoping this WOULDN’T happen but look where we are now.Anyways with no other choice I walked up and stood infront the white board.”So uhh,hello?i’m Loasm,new here,don’t wanna be here.”.I don’t think I was supposed to say that,but well whatever.”So Loasm,whats your favorite hobbies?” he asked me.”Oh uhh… sleeping.”,Clearly this WASN’T what he wanted.”Anything else?”.”hmmm… no not really”.Well i guess I wasn’t doing what i was “supposed”.He looked at me and said "Surely thats not it”.”N-no thats it.”,I guess something snapped,because now he was talking faster then most rappers.”A student does likes more then sleeping!And sense your not complying with my request you are getting detention after class!Sit down!”.Well clearly this teacher is gonna be annoying to deal with in the future.I sat down,thinking about if anything interesting is going to happen,I hope not though.All we did was review stuff from last year then he laid down some rules. I got up and left the class when the bell rang. I guess Mr.cook forgot about my detention and I just went to next class. After I checked my schedule I figured out was history class,which was 7:15 to 8:00. We did a few more classes and before i realized it,it was 15 minute till lunch. I was in Reading class and it was 11:,i asked to go to the bathroom and left. Though I wasn’t going to the bathroom. I was walking around the school,and the booth that was there?Now completely gone,and now you could get to the stairs more easily. Under the stairs was like restaurant seats,like 2 couches facing each other with a table. I sat down on the very corner one and then i saw Caos and Rider walk on down and sit.”Heya fella!Ya also on class break?”,I looked at rider a little confused.”Oh uhh,no I just left english class.”.Clearly they didn’t care,Rider sat down then Caos soon after.”Gues what!I have a new friend!”.Well,im not surprised,Caos has always been good at that type of stuff.He wasn’t lying either, soon enough a girl walked by the stairs. She had a t-shirt on that said “Love is Great!”,real jeans and a pony tail hair style,she was also one of the whitest girls i’ve ever seen.”Hi!So you all are Caos’s friends?Great to meet you all!”.Rider was the first to speak up,”I’m rider,nice to meet ya!”.”I’m not his friend,im his Brother,Loasm,nice to meet you.”.She took a seat next to me since it was the only one open.”Im Julie!".Well,this was a real shame,now we basically have a friend group. Well its probably a good thing,right?Well whatever,i decided to start a conversation.”Soo,what are you all’s favorite food?”.

Well clearly Rider was about to respond until this girl came up.Read/black hoodie,red shorts,messy hair and really heavy eyeliner.She wasn’t the only one either,behind her was another girl with a white shirt with a tape measure on it with dark blue jeans,and short white hair.The first girl with the heavy eyeliner spoke first.”What are you kids doing here?This is where we sit!”.A little rude,Rider stood up first.”Whats the attitude for eh?”.”Well,this is where we sit!”.Well before i didn’t realize but there was another girl next to her with the blue and white hoodie with blue shorts,hair that went straight down and blue eyes.The other girl came up and said.”Yea!This is where we sit!”.Rider glared at them and then I got up.”Nah who are YOU to be talkin’ to us like that?There 9 other places to sit,sit there!”.Well the main girl didn’t like that,”Excuse me?who are you loser to be talking to me like that?I’m ashley,im way above the social latter!”.Well ashley is her name.The same girl said “Yea!were way higher on the social latter!”.For some reason the blue hoodie girl wasn’t talking at all. Though I didn’t care,I wasn’t gonna take this though.”No,you can sit somewhere else,there’s plenty of other places to sit.Either sit somewhere else or hightail out of here!”.Ashley looked even more angry,”Your regret this…”,then they just left. I was thinking about what had just happened. I looked at Caos,Rider,my brothers friend Julie,they seemed just as clueless as I was. The bell rang and we all went down the cafeteria and sat down. “What just happened?”,well i guess no one had an answer. Rider looked at me and said ‘Thanks for helpin’ me fella!If it were’t for ya we wouldn’t had won.”.Julie was about to say something until the girl in the blue/white- hoodie came up to us.”Hey,can I tell you something?”.I turned around “Not you guys again… alright go ahead…”.I probably should’ve been a little more enthusiastic.”What you did back there was cute,no one stands up to Ashley”.Well I was taken back by that.Then she just left leaving me speechless,”C-cute?”.Well rider got a good laugh out of it,”Heh!looks like my ol’ fella got an admirer!”.I turned around to look at him,”Yea well I don’t have any interest in her.”.Julie looked at me then said “Oh its like a classic love story.”.Well,clearly everyone had an idea of me with whoever that girl was.”Lo-Love story?Yeah no no no no.I DON’T wanna get involved in that. Plus i’ve never even had a crush before.”.Well julie laughed,”Well theres a first time for everything right?”.”Yea well I don’t want a first time for that,im just gonna go get lunch.”.So I got up and went to the cafeteria line.I decided to grab pizza since its my favorite food and then went back down to the table. Honestly I thought it was ABSOLUTELY crazy that I would have a crush. Plus me getting involved in drama sounds like a hassle im NOT interested in.”Well fella’s,hate to break it to yall but im gonna eat over there.I’ve gotta do some math homework.”.So rider left and went to the corner of the cafeteria were no one sits.”Yea,I need to work on something to,i’ve got to get good grades” Julie said then just left and so did Caos. I was more confused then ever, so I ate my lunch. Then I went to study hall for the rest of the day. I found a book called “J’s adventures” and its REALLY cool. Its like a sc-fi and uhh,i forget what the other genre was. I read that till the end of the day I went home. I don’t think i got involved in any drama but I don’t know.
